And the tournaments continue…

Hi blog! I’m back, and well not surprisingly, I’m competing in another tournament this weekend. This is probably one of the most important tournaments on the year, the national qualifier. The competitors who place top three qualify for the National Speech and Debate Tournament in June. Needless to say, I have had a very tiring day. I have been competing since ten in the morning and left the tournament today almost at six in the afternoon. I still have one more round left for prelims, and after, I find out if I move on to finals. This entire month has been back to back tournaments every weekend, so I am relieved to finally take a break next week. Since Brianna has also been competing in debate tournaments as well, we have not had much time to plan things out with our group. We usually spend the entire day competing. By the time I had arrived home, it had been twelve hours since I had left this morning. By the time we get back, we are exhausted. Knowing this, we decided to plan our filming day further through our groupchat. We still agreed that Wednesday is the best day for all of us. However, we might be changing locations to film in my house instead. It would also make it much easier for our lead male actress, my boyfriend, to be there since we live very close. The problem is that I live very far, so the other members in my group would need transportation. Since I go to school in Fort Lauderdale and live in West Miramar, the drive is almost an hour long during rush hour. We compromised that we might all being leaving school in one car, but this still needs to be finalized. After the tournament ends tomorrow, I plan to finalize my plan with the group. Even though I will be very tired from competing, we need to make sure everyone is on the same page.
